I might come unhinged by Mustang Unleashed. A mustang wouldn't be on a leash, not as a car, not as a horse. Your dog might be on a leash, or your girlfriend, maybe particularly if you drove a red Mustang.

How does language work for an ad or a brand?
I'll study one ad periodically to try to find out.
My focus: the language. The length: brief.
"Unleashed" doesn't make any sense. "Unbridled" maybe, or "untamed." But I've never understood why anyone would be swayed by a car ad anyway
ReplyDeleteGood on the bad unleashed. ... I don't get how car ads work either. You kind of have to sit in one to know if it's right. My car has tons of blind spots. I never would have bought it if I had sat in it first.
